1881 Married Sarah C. Bierce, Normal Department of
1891 Elected to chair of Hellenistic Greek, Payne
Theological Seminary, Wilberforce University.
1897 Re- elected Professor of Greek and Latin, and
elected Vice- President of Wilberforce University.
1901 Delegate to Ecumenical. Methodist Conference
1908- 1920 President of Nilberforce University.
