C a r r i e r Bombing Squadron 17, on U, S. C a r r i e r " Bunker E i l l "
w i t h Task F o r c e 5 8 , from Nov. 9, 1943 t o March 4, 1944. It
g i v e s much a t t e n t i o n t o t h e c h a r a c t e r i s t i c s and a c t i o n s of
i n d i v i d u a l members of t h e Squadron.
The book was c o n p i f e d by a p u b l i c r e l a t i o n s o f f i c i a l of t h e
C u r t i s s - W r i g h t C o r p o r a t i o n , Columbus, 0.. W r i t t e n i n t h e
e a r l y summer of 1 9 4 4 , i t was p u b i t s h e d i n t i m e f o r t h e Christmae
