After May, 1829, when he moved to Harmony Township, Clark Co., he began to devote his time principally to general store keeping. In January, 1832, he moved his store to London, where he remained until April, 1836, moving again to Lafayette in June, where he remained in business thru 1861. During the period June, 1836- April, 1838, he also operated a store in Harrisburgh ( Ohio).
