SCOPE AND CONTENTS OF THE SERIES
The series consists of agency files kept by the legal division of the office of Governor Taft. These files document legal cases in which the state agencies had an interest. Some documents pre-date Governor Taft’s term of office. These files contain correspondence, memos, reports, clippings, and case files.
ORGANIZATION OF THE SERIES
The files are in the order in which they were received. The series is arranged, as received, in alphabetical order by agency name, with the exception of the last 3 boxes, which include Inspector General files.
ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION
Access:
The series includes records considered confidential under the Ohio Revised Code. Researchers may request redacted copies of the records, except those restricted under ORC §149.43 and §1707.12.
