SCOPE AND CONTENTS OF THE COLLECTION
The collection is comprised of 106 safety negatives measuring 4x5 inches, dated ca.1945-1950. The images depict scenes and events in Columbus and central Ohio. Subjects represented in the collection include, but are not limited to, the Ohio State Fair; automobile accidents; the Ohio Statehouse; The Ohio State University; the Broad Street bridge explosion; politicians Frank Lausche and James A. Rhodes; the Little Brown Jug horse racing competition; and the 37th Division, Ohio National Guard.
