HISTORICAL SKETCH OF THE COLLECTION
During his career as a personnel consultant (c. 1940s-1960s), Glenn E. Price worked for various companies in the Dayton, Ohio area, including but not limited to, Slanker Brothers, Globe Industries, and the Sheffield Corporation.
SCOPE AND CONTENTS OF THE COLLECTION
Spanning several decades, the Glenn E. Price Papers contain records, case files, union contracts, employee booklets, news clips, and other materials related to labor-management relations. Additionally, the collection contains materials related to Olympic gold medalist Jesse Owens. The motion picture film is footage of a strike at the Univis Lens Company in Dayton, Ohio, 1948.
