Senior Hadassah, which was organized back in 1912. will cel¬ ebrate their 35th birthday. Their success goes back to a small group of women under the capable leadership of Mrs. A. Reed and Mrs. A. Seff, who first became Interested In work¬ ing together for a common cause, Palestine. These women are proud of the work accom¬ plished for • the Youth Aliyah children, the Child ~ Welfare, Brandels Vocational Center in Jerusalem and the Hadassah Medical Center. In 1925 Junior Hadassah was organlzetl under the leadership ot Mrs. A. Goorey (Essie Fish¬ er) and -Mrs. Samuel Wolman (Ruth Frank). They, too, are working together for Palestin¬ ian projects such as "Meier Shfeyah" —The Children's Vil¬ lage, Youth Aliyah, Henrietta Szold's School of Nursing and the Jewish National Fund. Born in' Toronto, ho was ed¬ ucated at Upper Canada College and at the University of Tor¬ onto, ho was a Rhodes Scholar at Balliel College, Oxford.
