Fellowship Church Service Sunday
The Felowshlp Church will hold its monthly Inter-racial and interfaith worship service this Sunday, Oct. 26th, at 5 p. m., at the First Congregational Church, 44'1«E. Broad St., next to the Art Gallery. Rabbi Jerome D. Folk- .inan of Temple Israel, Bev. Rus- .sell Jones of the University Y.M.C.A., and the Rev. Mrs. Stanley Schwartz, Chair¬ man of the S. 0. S. (Supplies for Overse<as' Surviviors) and her entire committee wish to thank the good people of Columbus for their most generous contribu¬ tion to the lO-n S. O. S. Emergen¬ cy Drive.
Special thanks to the men and women of all the Jewish Organ¬ izations, temples and syna¬ gogues, for the splendid job they did. To the men, who did the tough job of picking up all the contributions and to the women who sorted and packed the clothing and canned goods, the S. O. S. committee is most grate¬ ful. They also wish to thank the various business houses who do¬ nated the use of their trucks and all those who helped to make tho drive an outstanding success.
Ben Neustadt, editor and pub¬ lisher of the Ohio Jewish Chron¬ icle, deserves a real pat on the back. His publicity helped co¬ ordinate the entire campaign and was greatly responsible for the outstanding ae^ilevement.

The principal function of the Rent advisory board, according to Housing Director Edward F. Wagner, is to consider and de¬ cide the entire housing ¦ rent policy for 'the county and work out a program on the general adequacy of rental levels in Co¬ lumbus, after rents are dropped from federal control.

The announcement last week of the coming here of James G. McDonald, international fig¬ ure in world affairs, has resulted in a most enthusiastic response thruout the Jewish community, according tot Jack Sclilff, chair¬ man of the Columbus Zionist Emergency Council. Jew anc) non-Jew alike have' wanted to hear a clear Interpretation on the Palestine situation — the claims and counter claims of the Jewish Agency, the Arab League and the British govern¬ ment. Columbus public will have this opportunity when they hear the message of Mr. McDonald next Thursday evening, Oct. 30, at East High School Auditorium. He has chosen for his subject "I'alestine and the U. N."
The meeling is scheduled to get under way promptly at 8:30
