Dinner Dance Marks T-I Sisterhood Birthday
According to reports of Tele¬ phone chairmen, Mrs. I. C. Benls and Mrs. I. Martin Tracht, a record crowd will be on hand at the Broad St. Temple tomor row at 6 p.m. tor the dinner and clanc6 cetebratTnjj Temple Israel Sisterhood's 36th birthday. Mr David Goldamlth will be toast master.
Featured on the entertainment program will be Jane Craig of Jimmy Rawlins' Studio, who, with her husband Larry, will present specialty dance numbers Dancing to the, strains of Bob Motzer's orchestra will provide another entertaining feature for a most pleasant and enjoyable evening.

The^Jolnt Annual Pioneer Wora^iiY donor dinner starting at Gp.m/ tomorrow (Sunday) at the Seneca Hotel promises to be an outstanding event, and the huge crowd is looking fonvard to an evening of a diversified, entertaining program. Highlight of the affair will be the appear ance ot Miss Rlvke Yoffe, the noted Palestinian .speaker, a real daughter of Jewish Palestine well-informed on the new gen eration of Eretz Israel

Mothers' Club of A. A. Pre-School Institute Announces Square Dance Carnival Plans
Chairman Mrs. Ben Kahn and her committees are making "all-out" plans for a frolicking Square Dance Carnival at the Jorg Fasting dance studios, 68% E. Long, Saturday, Feb. 28. This affair is being sponsored by the Mothers' Club of Agudath Achim's pre¬ school, with proceeds to be used for payment of the recently-pur¬ chased school bus. Tickets are obtainable ($1. per person) from parent members of the Club or by calling EV. 8896. Dancing will start at 0 p.m., with music pro¬ vided by the popular Bob Ver- beck's orchestra. Mr. Verbeck will direct and teach square dancing trom 9 to 10, and wlU be master of ceremonies for a floor show starting at 11. Everyone attending is urged to be attired appropriately for the dance.
The third floor ot the Fasting studios will be used for games and other events which will lend to the carnival spirit of the occa¬ sion. A concession stand (food and soft drinks) will be avail¬ able, too. Mothers of the pre¬ school will have a special booth where tickets will be sold for many useful Items which hav'e been donated for the affair.

Pianist Karl Schnabel Soloist for Columbus Philharmonic Concert Program Saturday
Liszt's Concerto No. 2 in "A" major will be the solo selection on next wee .c's Columbus Philharmonic "Pop" Concert to be performed by the young Jewish musician, Karl Uirich Schnabel, talented son o' world-renowned Artur Schnabel. As well as being a popular plai 1st, Karl Schnabel is a noted teacher and conducts a summer sch sol at Lake Como, In Italy, for piano students.
This concert next Saturday (Feb. 21) is being promoted by the Councii of Jewish women and will Include works by Hoist, Borodin, Liadov and Gulon—all to be conducted by Izler Solo¬ mon.
The concert begins promptly at 8 p.m., and will be broadcast over WCOL (but not Schnabel'g solo). As always, dancing with Jimmy Franck's Philharmonics will conclude the evening. An. added feature will be drawings on the tickets presented to con¬ tributors of the current orches¬ tra maintenance drive. How¬ ever, the price for this concert re¬ mains the same, $1.20, Including tax.

Noted Tenor Guest On B.J.E. Program
David Putterman, tenor, of New York city, will be guest ar¬ tist for the third annual "Even¬ ing of Jewish Music" program Wednesday, Feb. 25, 8:30 p.m., at East High School, sponsored by the Bureau of Jewish Educa¬ tion ot Columbus,
Mr. Putterman has made hun¬ dreds of appearances as soloist for concerts, schools, Centers, and synagogues throughout the country. His program here Feb. 25 will be diversified and of un¬ usual Intereat, in which he sings In Hebrew and Yiddish, including Caballistlc and Hassldlc songS, folic and synagogue music, both traditional and modern; Jewish spirituals, and Palestinian songs, old and new.
This program will be tops In entertainment, and our commun¬ ity Is fortunate to have Mr. Put¬ terman for the event. The public is Invited and there will be no admission fee.
