Hirschsprung To Be Honored With Banquet Tuesday
Honoring Rabbi and Mrs. Mor¬ decal HIrs'chsprung, a farewell testimonial banquet will be held Tuesday evening (Aug. 24), at 6:30 p. m., in the Agudath Achim social hail.

Hebrew School Moves to New Home
The Board of Directors of the Columbus Hebrew School, cognizant ot the fact that the present sHe and facilities are inadequate for proper schooling, this weel< announced that Fair- wood Ave. Elementary school has heen obtained as the new home for the Hebrew school, effec¬ tive Sept. 13, when the new seipester begins. Tbe Board has decided that Hebrew education is too paramount to wait for the completion of the current drive for funds to erect a new Hebrew school building.
The Board also has purchased, through sub¬ scriptions of a few friends, a second bus to transport the boys and girls to and from Bexley and Eastmoor. The original bus will still be
used for transportation of Columbus children.
Till now. it, has been nece.'i.snry for pupils to rido on the l)us for as long as an hour and a half. With the addition of another vehicle, time .spent riding to and from school, will be greatly curtailed. Children wiil then be home within 20 minute.s after school is dismissed.
Mr. Daniel Harri.son, superintendent of the Schpol, has made arrangements for all boys and glrlti to receive milk and a snack before Hebrew school classes begin.
The Hebrew .school has completed an excel- lenl staff of well qualified and experienced pro¬ fessional teachers.

Expect Big Crowd At Voliner Picnic
Voliner Society is anticipating a record crowd for ils annual family picnic tomorrow (Sun¬ day) at Edgewater Park. Chair¬ man Ben Rosen reports that many varied events have been planned for the entire day, with several valuable prizes to he awarded.
Entire proceeds obtained from the picnic will be forwarded to several charitable projects which Vollner Society undertakes.

Mrs. Papurt has been asked to leiKl the Freedom Pledge at the public rally to be held in the patio of City Hall Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 11:30 a. m., one of several events scheduled for Women's Day. A continuous
showing of the movie "Land of Liberty" will follow the rally at City Hall, and a public reception at the Governor's Mansion from 3. to 5 p. m., at which Mrs. Papurt will serve as a hostess.
