2nd Annual ADL Regional Board Meeting ^NiOct. 1; Many B'nai B'rith Leaders Expected
The 2nd annual meeting of the Regional Hoard of the Ohio- Kentucky office of the Antl-Defamatlon League will take place Sunday, Oct, I, according to Mr, Ralph Lazarus, chairman of the Board. The Board is the policy-making body guiding the oi)cra- tlons of the League's regional office located In Columbus. It Is anticipated tliat approxl-j

Marking the conclusion of the first year of operation of the regional office under the direc¬ tion of the Regional Board and its officers, there will be an ana¬ lysis and evaluation of the pro¬ grams and the activities of the office during the year.
Recent momentous develop¬ ments on the international, nat¬ ional and local levels have pro¬ duced important reactions af¬ fecting the Jewish community. 'These developments will necess¬ itate the making of basic policy decisions profoundly affecting ADL's program of civic defense and community relations in this area.
A.ssiBting the Regional Board in Ils deliberations will be the heads of ADL's national staff In J>few York and Chicago.
The meeting will also consist of business sessions devoted to a consideration of amendments to the by-laws of the Board and to the election of officers for the forthcoming year.
Present officers of the Board consist of chairman. Ralph Laz¬ arus, Columbus; honorary chair¬ man, Sidney Kusworm, Dayton; vice-chairmen, Alfred Benesch, Cleveland, Benjamin Schwartz, Cincinnati and Louis Ades, Lex¬ ington. Seymour Gorchoff Is Regional Director and SeymoUr Kaplan Assistant Director.
