United Jewish Fund Campaign Halfway Home
From Ihe reports of increases made by a great percentage of givers this year, the 1950»Unlted .lewish Fund campaign which will officially close Wednesday, will chalk up an outstanding record. Hundreds of solicitors are still seeing people every day, telling them of the Important needs facing millions of Jews overseas, nationally and here at home.
Your campaigner may have been to see you recently, how¬ ever If he has not arrived as
yet, we urge you to make your contribution as quickly as po.s¬ sible. Have your pledge cards ready when the volunteer calls. Please do nol make him come back again, while you discuss the details with your "mate." You should hold all discu.sslons con¬ cerning your 1950 pledge, before the .solicitor arrives. Give him all the consideration you would ex¬ pect yourself, if you were doing a similar job. Every campaigner deserves a vole of thanks for the splendid Job now being done.
Collectively, thou,sands of hours are being spent by doctors, lawy¬ ers and businessmen to see to it that this year's campaign is an outstanding success. Do your share when he arrives at YOUR home or place of business.
