B'nai B'rith M" Day
This Sunday Is "M" day for B'nai B'rith. Every member of the order in the city of Columbus la Invited and urged to meet at the Jewish Center at 10 o. m. for a two- hour, whirlwind membership con¬ servation and now memborship drive.
Pros. Richard Grundstein and "M" day chairmen. Dr. Bernard Mindlin and Sol Zeldin, have is¬ sued a call for the mobilization and expect a record turn-out of those who have the future of B'nai B'rith at heart.

Dan Cohen has Initiated a one- man campaign to solicit contribu¬ tions for the 10S2 United Jewish Fund drive. This- announcement waa made by Troy A. Feibel, 1952 United Jewish Fund campaign chairman.

SENIOR, B&P HADASSAH SPONSOR JOINT RUMMAGE SALE NEXT WEEK
Mrs. Sam Newpoff waa hostess at a tea at her home, 143 Mayfair Blvd., where she entertained the workera for Hadaasah's rummage aale to bo held Dec. 2-3-4-B. Members of both Sr. and B&P Hadassah at¬ tended and it was decided that a joint rummage sale would again be held this year.
Women present at the tea were: Meadames M. Tarcov, Sol Myers, I. Cabakoff, H. Cutler, S. Tlmon. H. Goldstein. B. Welas, I. Schulman, Lou Robins, Ed Pallet, Ed Keliner and Samuel Luper.
Other membera who will help but could not be present at the tea are: Mcsdamos D. Goldsmith, Paul Cal¬ lif, H. Schoenbaum, Wolfe Solomon, A. Kohn, H. Krakoff. J. Barraah, V. Ringer, Abe Flicker, L. B^Ind8 collected through the sole of rummage are used for Hadass¬ ah's expanding child wi-Ifare and vocational education program. These aro high sounding words which, broken dow^, mean hot lunches and extra milk for school children whoae parents can't af¬ ford to pay—a recreation program for children with no place to play- workshops, and cooking and sew¬ ing classes for high school pupils ao that they may learn some useful occupation.

Music lovers are in for a stimu¬ lating evening when "CARMEN", In all Ita splendor, gaity and color, makea its appearance in tho Agu- daa Achim synagogue.
In observance of Chanukah, the A. A. Sisterhood la presenting a novel program featuring thia light opera and a caUewalk, on Wednes¬ day, Dec. 10, 8 p. m.,
"Carmen Celebrates Chanukah", a musical comedy written by Mrs. F. Nutls, Is based on the story of "Carmen", transplanted Into an Israeli atmosphere. The original arias are being sung by a cast led by Mina Schwartz, Bernle Doctor and Norman K^thless.
Ably assisting in the supporting chorus are the following: Mes¬ dames B. Friedman, M. Cohen, H Kay, P. H. Gellman. D. Feder, W Rosen. S. Valcov, S. Paine, I. Stein, L. Zlskind.

RUDY VALLEE TO BE ON COUNCIUS PROGRAM
Rudy Vallee is the big secret that Council's program chairman, Mrs. Elmer Engelman, has as the guest star at Council Women's Tuesday meeting at Bryden Rd. Temple.
"I've Got A Secret" la the theme of the program, and it will follow the general pattern of tho broadcast which is aired nationally on Thurs¬ day ovenlnga.
Council members will have a chance to ace and hoar in prr.son those conte.stant.s who have been chosen runnors-up for tho national program. Tho contest was sponsor¬ ed over Jjick Buck's program on WBNS-TV.
Jack Buck, well-known radio and TV personality, will M. C, the panel for Council. His quick wit and per¬ sonality will certainly help to load the program through a gay after¬ noon.
Dessert coffee will be served at 12:45. (The time was errone¬ ously printed In this month's Council Bulletin.)
Members of the panel who will try to determine Mr. Vallee'a and the other contestants' accrets will be: Mrs. M. J. Papurt, Mra. Sol Meyer, Mr. Jack Cheaia and Mr. Mike Schwartz. Mra. Sol Zell will be the accom pan isf.'

MEN'S CLUB STAG
The Tlfereth Israel Men's Club will hold Its first stag meeting Tuesday. 8:30 p. m., at Broad St. Temple.
The actual business meeting will be extremely short; and will be thrown open to the membera for cards or other diversions. Refresh¬ ments and drinifs will be provided.

4th Annual Home for Aged Banquet is Tomorrow
The 4th annual banquet for the Columbus Jewish Home for the Aged will be held tomorrow, 6 p. m., at the New Beth Jacob syna¬ gogue, Bulen near Livingston Ave.
An outstanding evening's enter¬ tainment has been arranged for those attending. Folk melodies oa well aa liturgical selections will be rendered by Cantor P. H. Gellman. Several local rabbis, namely Leo¬ pold Greenwald. Samuel W. Rub¬ enstein and Nathan Zellzer will partltjlpate in the program.
Mr. Robert Mellman will serve aa toastmaster. Mr. Abe A. Wolman
win be prominently featured In the activities.
A delicious meal Is being pre¬ pared by Mr. and Mrs. Morris Gold of Gold Caterers. The membera of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Colun>- bus Jewlah Home for the Aged will assist Mr. and Mrs. M. Gold In pre¬ paring and serving the repast.
The Columbus Jewish Home for the Aged has been In operation for several years. The present building used by the home was purchased one year ago and was formally oc¬ cupied last July. At present there are eight men and women using the
facilities. Mr. and Mrs. - Zupnlck direct the activities of the old follcs. The highest Ideals ot traditional Judaism are put Into regular prac¬ tice at the home. The program ia receiving professional supervision from the Columbua Jewish Family Service Bureau.

Final preparations have been made for Ahavas Sholom congre¬ gation and th^lr friends to enjoy a gala evening at the Installation banquet Sunday, Dec. 7.
