From 12:30 to 6:30 "p. m., members oi the Jewish community who have promised to give blood will converge on the Rod Cross Bloodmobile, which will be station¬ ed With a full staff of trained per¬ sonnel. The Blood Donor Council 'urges all those who have made an ap¬ pointment to give to bo sure and keep your appointment, oh time. Also if you give through your own organization whore you are em¬ ployed or through another frater¬ nal group, please mention the Jew¬ ish Community Blood Donor Coun¬ cil, as credit w^Il be feivcn to both groups. If you need a ride on "B" Day, juflt call the Center, DO. 2731 or DO. 6221, and transportation will be arranged. Workers will pick you up and bring you back. There will also bo an all-day nursery in session for all donors and workers. UJA Launches Nationwide Campaign MIAMI BEACH (Special) — The United Jewish Appeal's 1952 nation¬ wide campaign for $151,500,000 — termed by UJA General Chairman Edward M- M. Warburg "the most crucial campaign In the 14-year hia¬ tory of the,UJA" — will be formal¬ ly launched this weekend by moro than 500 Jewish leaders represent¬ ing communities In 41 states as they meet for the UJA'a National Inaugural Conference at the Sax¬ ony Hotel In Miami Beach, Fla. The two-day National Inaugural Conference will take action to key¬ note the opening of more than 5,000 community campaigns throughout the country. " Tho most important tasks facing the Conference are: (1). The establishment of a 1952 standard of Individual and corpor¬ ate giving to community campaigns on behalf of the United Jewish Ap¬ peal. (2).
