Upon Ills return from military service, he decided to get a better Insight into. Jewish Center work and became a youth workur at the Jewiah Center of ColumbUB.
REALIZING THAT only through obtaining full professional training in a recognized school of social work could ho make his best con¬ tribution to Jewish Center work, he applied to and was accepted In the Ohio State Univeralty School of Social Work.
It la anticipated that Mr. Levin will obtain hla graduate degree In aoeiul   work  in  September.  195-1.

Annual JWV Project At Billiard Track
The community Is invited to the harness races next Thursday (June 25) at Hilllarda Raceway. The races are being aponsored jointly by the local Capitol Post 122, Jew¬ ish War Veterans, and the Aux¬ iliary.

Fathers Day Affair At Home for Aged
Mrs. I. Nutis, president of the Auxiliary of the Columbus Home for Jewish Aged, announced that a Fathers Day program Is being planned, for residents of the Home.
The party will be held Sunday at the Home, 1J5 N. Woodland Ave., 2:00 to 4 p. m.

In April, 1941, the eminent Jewish scholar, Dr. Cecil Roth, published a book entitled "The Saaaoon Dynasty." In hia preface he addressed the book "To Adolf Hitler, Fuehrer of the German Reich." Here is his explanation:
"For two reasons, I desire to inscribe your name at the beginning of this book. The first is, that I consider ita topic to be a useful object- lesson to the unfortunate people'whom you have misled into thinking themselvea a pure and superior 'race'  iwhatevor that may mean).
"THE MOST RDDIMENTAIIY political common-aenae ahould make it obvious that the absorption of gifted foreign families (iannot be other than an advantage for a clvillse^d state. England and English life have in particular been enrichyd for centuries paat by receiving froah ele¬ ments from other sources, and there can surely be no reason toi^regret a liberality that has endowed her with soldiers, philanthropists and poets auch as the Saaaoon family and many like It have produced.
