HARRY C^I'TLER. chair- man of Nightingale Cottage, re¬ minds all members of the import¬ ance of their contributing a jar of jelly for Nightingale. If each member could make a visit to the Installation and witness the eager and determined little faces of thoae atricken children who are making a determined ef¬ fort to recover from the scars of rheumatic fever, TB and Polio, Council members would feel that contributing jelly I.s certainly a minor thing In the great job of re- habilitafion that is done here. To many children at Nightingale, jelly ia a luxury; Council wants to help continue this simple little luxury. PROCEEDS FROM the tax stampa. the committee for which Mra. Stanley Schwartz, Sr,. Is chairman, with the proceeds from the penny banks, all go tp support Council's Child Welfare Fund. Children are a moat important unit In every sot up, but there are many children, who without efforts from, groups like Council, would be unable to exist . . , dnd the future of many sections of the world would look mighty bleak. . THROUGII THESE combined drives, children's Uvea .who have been blighted through the scourges of war, are made a bit brighter through the foster homes and schools that Council has helped to sot up and support, and the supply¬ ing of toys, clothing and even medical care for many. Perhapa when you turn in your contributions to the Triple Colleo- tlon worker, you could and should think of it aa a treat for some less fortunate children of the world. li
