Attendance at this affair will not only offer an evening of pleasure, but will. In the words of David Ben Gurion, "enhance this magnlf I. cent undertaking — a powerful encouragement to Israel, to the lov¬ ers of science and of scholarship." Ho was referring to the building
of the Hadassah -Hebrew Universi¬ ty Medical Center for which ground was broken In 1S62 and which is now taking form In AIn Kerem near Jerusalem.
The program for the evening will start with a "welcome coek- tall." Then will follow tho display of the 29 lovely Israeli-designed and executed fashions. The narra¬ tor will be Mrs. J. Maynard Kap¬ lan, who win also model one of the garments, and Mrs. Max Zis¬ klnd who will provide the musical accompaniment.
