Dave Goldsmith, chairman I of the .dlviaion, announcea the ap- I pointment of a group of Colonels, each of whom wrtl have alx work- era. The Colonels held an enthusiastic meeting ^londay evening at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Goldamlth, when the movie, "None.j Shall Make Them Afraid," featur¬ ing Fredric March, was shown. It la the aim of the chairmen, the work¬ ers and the majors that "W" day will be a completed venture by 4 p. m. Thuraday. KlU will have been distributed at the major-worker desaert tea Wed¬ neaday. At 9 a. m-. more than 200 workers will begin calling upon their Hats of pledges. Rcqueat goes out to the Jewish women of Co¬ lumbus, asking that if they have not already made their 1056 plejlge to the United Jewlah Fund, that they remain at home on morning of May 3 to sign their pledge cards. Beginning at 1 p. m. on "W" day, lunch will be served to the return¬ ing workera and majors, at the Jewish Center. Greatly appreciated that day ts the conscientious worker who com¬ pletes a report on all of her cards and turns fn the report to the UJF office at tho Center. Aa each worker completea her work kit, her name will be entered into a hat and at 4 p. m. on "W" day there will be a name drawn from that hat. for which a grand prize will be given. It will not be necessary for the worker tQ be present to receive the prizp, but her name will be entered only when she has re¬ turned with her complete report. Each year the effectiveness of the one-day drive Increaacs and this year Is Looked to be a model in speed and in thoroughness. Probably most appreciated on "W" day is the woman who re¬ mains at home to make her contri¬ bution to the Fund. No amount la, too targe or too amail.
