INVITE COMMUNITY TO INSTALLATON EVENT APRIL 27
Samuel Luper, president of A- gudas Achim Congregation, this week extended an open Invitation to the entire communliy to the installation ceremonies of the newly-elected officers and mem¬ bers of the board of the syna¬ gogue, and to hear Dr. I^eo Jung, distinguished rabbi, author, teach¬ er and lecturer.
Beginning at 8 p. m. Sunday, i April 27, at the synagogue, the In¬ stallation affair will be followed by a reception, at which members of the Sisterhood will servo as hostesses.
In addition to the officers, the following will be Installed, either as re-elected members of the board, or to new positions on the board:

A skit, "The Belles Are Ringing," will be presented and door prizes will be given.

Although he will be thousands of miles away In Israel on the evening of April 27, Harry Sher will be Installed In absentia that night as an Honorary Trustee of the Congregation, a fitting re¬ ward for the many years of de¬ voted service he has given to Agudas Achim. In that capacity he will join a distinguiahed group of "elder stateamen" and leaders Of the Congregation, who, tlirough the jrears. have given dedicated service in the advance¬ ment of the principles of Jijidaiam aa exemplified by Agudas Achim.

Heads Temple Youth
Youth will have Its say at the regional biennial convention of the Ohio Valley Council of the Union of American Hebrew Con¬ gregations being held In Colum¬ bus, May 2-4, at the Pt. Hayea Hotel.
Not only will many of the ses¬ sions be devoted to discussion of plans for the new Youth Camp located near Indianapolis, but members of the local, regional and national Youth Groups will have a part In the program itself, the theme of which is "Building Tomorrow's Congregation."

BLOOD DONOR SOLICITATION
The entire Jewish communi¬ ty Is being telephoned by workers of the Blood Donor Council and asked to give blood on "B" Day, May 7, from noon to 6 p. m., at the Jewish Center.
The need for blood Is as ur¬ gent today as It has been at any time since the war. For that reason, a goal of 260 pints has been set.
When called to give, make your answer a "yes." Refresh¬ ments win be served following the giving.
OR. GAALTON TO SPEAK TUESDAY AT PRE-SCHOOL
What Meikes the Pre-Schooier Tick?" That's the title and sub¬ ject for the April general pro¬ gram meeting of the Parents Group of the Jewish Center Pre- School Tuesday, 8:30 p. ra. The speaker will be the prominent chief psychologist of the Chil¬ dren's Mental Health Center, Dr. Robert L. Carlton. Announcement was made by Mrs. Seymour Luck¬ off, president of the Parents Group.
Dr. Carlton, highly skilled through training and experience in the general area of his address, will discuss characteristics and psychological behaviqr that are peculiar to pre-school aged chil¬ dren, and how they are implicated in relationships with their par¬ ents.
The program will include a question and answer period. Mrs. Samuel CJordon, Program chair-. man, who will Introduce pr, Carl¬ ton at the meeting, stated: "Knowing the apecial informality of our fathers and mothers in the Parents Group, I am sure that we will hear and see a ctiiidren's clinic In demonstration."
The evening's speaker is a na¬ tive of Murray, Ky., where he also attended college for ills under¬ graduate training. He then came to Columbus and obtained his Master's and Doctor's degrees at . Ohio State University, the latter In 1953.
Hla areas of specialization have been clinical psychology and speech pathology.
He has done work at the Juve¬ nile Diagnostic Center In Coium¬ bus; at the Veterans Hospital in Chillicothe; and has Served the Veterans Administration in this city. He came to the Children's Mental Health Center in 1952. Two yeara later he became its chief psychologist, under _ Dr. W- H. Missildine, executive director of the clinic.
Hostesses at the meeting will serve under the chairmanship of Mrs. Albert Shkolnick. The open¬ ing prayer will be given by ^ member of the Religious com.mit-' tee, of which Mrs. Ike Ctobein ia chairman.
