Rhodes today Issued a Proclamation designating Dec. 4-12 as a "Period ot Dedication for Restoration at Human Rights of the Jewish Community at the Soviet Union." In a Proclamation issued to Sidney Blatt, Columbus CRC Chairman, Governor Rhodes emph^ized that the observance of Chanukah coincides this year with the universal declaration of hu¬ man rights and that he is calling on all citizens of Ohio "to lend their «upport to the call for the restora¬ tion of the basic humanrights at the Soviet Jewish com- mudly by participating inthe public ceremonies of dedica¬ tion, scheduled throughout our State duringtMs period." - Gov.
