Ben Goodman Heads 1971 UJFC Campign
Ben Goodman will serve as General Chairman of the 1971 United Jewish Fund and Council Campaign, ac¬ cording to Marvin L. ' Glassman, President of the UJFC.
Mr. Goodman, who is the owner and President of B. 'Goodman Fashions, which -operates several stores in the Columbus and Mid-Ohio areas, has been active iA'the UJFC for many years. A member of the Board of Trustees, he served as Chairman of the Advance Gifts Division in the 1970 Campaign, which was the most successful in the history of the UJFC fund- raising drives. Mr. Good¬ man is also the first vice president of the Tifereth Israel Congregation, a member of B'nai B'rith Zion Lodge, on the board .of Heritage House, and active
in many other community endeavors, including the Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. and Mrs. Goodman have two sons, and live at 1634 Kenwick Road. Mrs. Goodman is active in' the Women's Campaign Division.
Mr. and Mrs. Goodman were in Israel in 1968 on a Columbus Study Mission, and Mr. Goodman was one of the national community leaders who were called to Israel, late this summer, to be briefed by Golda Meier, Prime Minister, on the ' serious and critical situation which faces Israel today.
In naming Mr. uuodman as General Chairman of the 1971 Campaign, Mr. Glassman stated: "With his dedication and commitment, proved over the past several years, we know that Mr. Goodman will lead the

Almost'to the ^ate, the new Beth Jacob Community Mik- vah will be ready for use thirty-two years after the present facility on Livingston Avenue was completed.
