. The, passing of Mr. Isr,1el Grcenstem, aged 1(7, last .Wednesday is being mourned by hundreds of friends in Columbus aiid Central Ohio. He was a resident of Cq- luinhus for over; thirty years and was, a long time' associated witir his son-in- law, Harry Rctner, in the jewelry busi¬ ness at 1^ South High street.
Mr. Greenstein was a member,of the Rryilcn Road Tcmpip, the Kiiights of Pytliias, the Masonic Order,;and the In¬ dependent Order of B'nai B'rith. To all charitable and civic enterprises he gave liberally. . '
He is survived by his'wif^, Mrs. Min¬ nie ' Greenstein; two daughters, Mrs. Har[^y Ratncr ,iiul Mrs, Dave Levison, both of Columbus; two ,brothers, Harry and Louis; and three grand children, A great grandchild and a sister also survive.

Of this sum, $313,320 is needed for the work of-the Hebrew Utt- ioii College which the. Union maintains for the training of Jewish young, men for the: Rabbinate. Hundreds Mourn the Passing of Mr. Israel Greenstein> Aged 67 Lived in Columbus For Over Thirty Years; Was Member of Many Fraternal Orders . The, passing of Mr. Isr,1el Grcenstem, aged 1(7, last .Wednesday is being mourned by hundreds of friends in Columbus aiid Central Ohio. He was a resident of Cq- luinhus for over; thirty years and was, a long time' associated witir his son-in- law, Harry Rctner, in the jewelry busi¬ ness at 1^ South High street. Mr. Greenstein was a member,of the Rryilcn Road Tcmpip, the Kiiights of Pytliias, the Masonic Order,;and the In¬ dependent Order of B'nai B'rith. To all charitable and civic enterprises he gave liberally. . ' He is survived by his'wif^, Mrs. Min¬ nie ' Greenstein; two daughters, Mrs. Har[^y Ratncr ,iiul Mrs, Dave Levison, both of Columbus; two ,brothers, Harry and Louis; and three grand children, A great grandchild and a sister also survive.
