Fleishman has demonstrated his loyalty and dedication to the Jewish community in Columbus. through his many years of "service. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Agudas Achim Synagogue, he is a.former Vice-Presi-_ dent ofthe Congregation and •former -President -ot-its- Brotherhood. Fleishman has also served as an active member on the-Boards of The Heritage House, The Jewish Family-Service, and •The . Columbus Jewish "Federation. - This past year, Fleishman has devoted a greafr portion - of his time and energy to the JNF, with its newly established Columbus office. In 1977, Fleishman was honored by ■ the Agudas Achim Brotherhood wth the FloWers for- the. Living Award. The dedication will be a major part of the Heritage Village celebration of National Grandparents Day to be held on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 3:30 p.m. at Heritage House. - Members ol the Planning . Mrs. Rising, along with her late, husband, Sol, has been noted for her dedication to Ahavas Sholom and the Columbus community. She has worked tirelessly for many organizations including B'nai Brith Women, United Jewish Appeal, Bonds for Israel, the Auxiliary of the Rainbow Division, World War I Veterans, and is a sixty-year member, of Ahavas Sholom and its Sisterhood.
