Final Destination: Israel
The Peterborg family has landed at
Ben Gurion Airport, Israel, after a brief
stay in Vienna. These new Soviet Jewish
immigrants will be met by Jewish
Agency representatives, who have
already prepared an apartment in the
Rehovoth Absorption Center for the
family. American Jews, through the
UJA/Federation Passage to Freedom
Campaign, are helping Israel provide
job training, Hebrew classes and other
absorption services.
