Aviation Expert To Address B'nai B'rith Monday Evening
Lt. Col. Don A. Starry, of the War Depariment Headquarters of the Army Air Forces, in Washington, D. C, will address an open meeting of Zion Lodge, B'nal B'rith al the Broad St. Temple next Monday, March 22nd, at 8 p. m., it was announc¬ ed hy Bernard Feitlinger, presi¬ dent. His subject win be "Avia¬ tion In the Present War."
Lt. Col- Starry was born In Springvllle, Iowa; graduated Cornell College, Ml. Vernon, la., 1918. He served as a private, corporal, sergeant. Company "C" 329th Balallon Tank Corps, In the A. E.F. 1918 and-In 192B was was commissioned se'cond lieu¬ tenant, 137th Infantry, Kansas National Guard. Entering the Federal Service, Commanding Hdqtrs. Co. 2nd Batalion, 137 In¬ fantry in 1910 as first lieuten¬ ant, he was promoled Captain In 19-11. Commanding Company "L" I37th Infantry. Later he served as Battalion Executive Officer, Louisiana Maneuvers and Executive and Administra¬ tive Officer, Air Forces Public Relations, Washington, D. C. Ll. Starry was promoted to Major, in Feb. and in August ot the same year received promotion to Lt. Colonel.
