A real barn stormer
Ohio's bicentennial bam painter, Scott Hagan, 22, puts the
finising touches last Wednesday to Lorain County's bicentennial bam, located on Rt. 58 in Amherst Township. The bam,
owned by Gerald and Janet Eschtruth, is 100 years old, and
was chosen to help raise awareness of Ohio's upcoming
200th birthday celebration planned for the year 2003. The
state's Bicentennial Commission is hoping to have this logo
painted on at least one bam in all of Ohio's 88 counties by
the time the event rolls around. Hagan was hired as an independent contractor in 1998 to complete the work.
