Full Text	A-57-1 New York 4mo 12 1810 Esteemed Friend Thos Rotch I should now be glad to have the machines for my manufacture as my building is now prepared for it, and I will either transmit the money to thee or pay it as thee may direct to some person in New York which would suit rather better as some risque may attend sending per post. Perhaps some Trader from Hartford might find it convenient to take a Dft on me from thee if they come down soon please to send them directed to me care of Dodgson & Hauschurch 292 Pearl St. where if a Dft should come may be presented for me, as I am not daily in town my wife desires her affectionate remembrance to thee & thine in which I unite thy affect friend John Barrow
