Esteemed Friend
The payments to be made to
thee by my subscribers as men-
tioned in a former letter, are to be
made through AW Townsend, who
will take up certain a/cs due me
in your quarters & settle it with thee.
The arrangement however will
probably not be made till I see
him, which will probably be
at yearly meeting. I had expected
that individual subscribers would have
made payments to thee. But in a
letter lately recd of Abel he informs
me that he, as agent for me, will
assume the payment (, in the way I have
mentioned) of all the good debts due
