Description	In this letter, M Thompson states that he authorized Thomas Rotch to sell certain sections of land near Kendal in 1813, but has received no response from Rotch. He has increased his asking price to 4 and 5 dollars per acre, and asks Rotch to look out for the property in order to prevent any waste or misuse of timber. 8" x 8" (20.5 by 20.5 cm)

Full Text	A-337-2 Steubenville, Feby 10th, 1814 Dear Sir, You will recollect I authorised you to S. T.R. sell my quarter section, near to Kendall, transit 8.W.3.10.9 S.T. R. at 4 Dollars pr acre & S.E. 12.1.10 at 3 Dollars,[illegible] a sale as effected by the lst Fall. I have now determined (unless, I hear a worse account fo them than heretofore to sell the former under 5 Dolls & the latter 4 Dolls. I will thanks you to take some notice of 3.10.9 so as to prevent any dispass or waste of the timber. I am, respectfully, your friend M Thompson Mr. Thomas Roche Kendall
