Since my return from Kendal I re-
ceived a letter from Richard & Maria Imley
informing that they are about to return to
Chesterfield Monthly meeting and requests
Certificats thereto and as I am one appointed by
our meeting to have the care of it I request
thee to make inspection into the situation
of his afairs as far as respects his temporals
and if nothing apears to obstruct amongst you
pleas write me as soon as thou art clear therein
also inform Richard Williams and Isaac Bow-
man that their Certificats have come to hand
and it would be pleasing to me if they could
attend next monthly meeting.
Dear friend I will give thee a little hint
of your reques The committee reported in favo-
our of your being indulged with the previledge
of holding meetings on first days which after
many friends expressing their sentiments it
was concluded to be left under consideration anoth-
er month, which makes me desireous that as
many of you as can attend at next mo meeg
may.
I may also inform thee that many friends have been
enquiring the reason of thee and thy wifes not
attending here oftener and for the most part
I have endevour'd to inform them your situation
and excuse for you as far as I think was right
but I now begin to feel at a loss for excuses
and
