My Dear Sir
I recd your favor of the 26 of April and
with much pleasure learnt that you
and Friends were in good health.
I have also a letter from James
Duncan and shall [illegible] soon
and will thank you [to]inform him that
we are all in good health and pleased
to hear from him - - I sowed this spring
a half bushel of the kind of grain
I sent you a few kernals of which
looks very promising - I hope I shall
have an opportunity of sending
you some part of my crop - and for
that purpose will endeavour to find
Thos and Richard Bried - I they live
at Nahant I shall see them next month
