my dear Son Thomas
I duly recd thine of the 5th Int. I had desired
James Parsons & Sons to ship all the goods here (if not shipd for
Bedford before they rec'd my letter (not because we wanted them
except the trunks of wearg apparel & a trunk & Chest of Goods wch you
had a mind of & I hope will come pr next oppt) lest to avoid
giving Wm & thee any trouble about, but as they are now stord &
will probably be wanted at Bedford except what we have wrote
[illegible] if you have room they may now remain; as soon as our
house is done we can take them all in there.

Martha & Lydia to the Meetg after leaving Bedford till the
Yrly Meetg, & then perhaps further, and if either of you, I thought

long absence might leave too great a burthen on Dr. Eliza, that

fd J. Evans had a desire to have thee again his companion, but unless
thou finds thyself religiously bound to him I think our Dr. females
they
have a greater claim, and I know ^wish it to take place with
either of you, that may appear best to you; and [illegible] may
probably be easier furnish'd then they. The family visit is com=
