Most Esteemed Friends
I would have wrote to you sooner but Circumstances
have hindered me. But it is better late than never
when I left Dover, I would have taken that piece of
that I told you I would take
goods^but had not room to pack it in the Carriage
we arrived safe here, we are all in a reasonable state
of health, Mary, and Catherine like the place
very Well, you was talking about Buying my horse
I will let you have him as I still think myself under
an obligation to you and Charity for the Care you
took of Catherine, I you want the house let me
know by the Next Mail, for there 2 Gentlemen
in this place that want the horse, and I have
still put them of, and told them that I had pro-
-mised the horse to you, and still intend to let you
have him if you want him write to me and let
me know how you are, and Capt Folgers family
is. Take my best respects to yourself and family
I conclude and remain your true friend
