My dear Sister
Uncommon occupancy has prevented informing
my beloved sister, at an earlier period, that last
6th day Morning- ye 6th Instant 20 minutes after
three O Clock dear Deborah presented us with
a little daughter which bears the Name of Han=
=nah after its two grandmothers---she had a
Close Conflict during which thou mayest judge of a
mothers feelings that it seem d cause of thankful
ness indeed when she was deliver d I have still
some anxiety about her breasts etc- as the babe
seems Awkward at Sucking.
We have been uncommonly occupied for several
months past in the tenth Month our attention
was call d for to a Nephew of my Husbands, Ed-
=ward Dors---who having had a great discharge
of blood we suppose from his Lungs was confined
at a House in the Neighbourhood where he
his wife & Child Boarded- he had been
a Prodigal Son, & had spent his Parental
