Philadelphia 9th mo 11th 1814
My Dear Aunt
Since father wrote Mother has had a relapse on 5th
but I hope she is now on the mend she had a return of her
chills and fevers she thought she took cold they have left her again
She rode a little way with Deborah this morning it was the
first time Deborah has been out she is slowly getting well though
very weak Father wrote three letters which I hope you have
received, since Mother has been sick.
perhaps thou may have heard that cousin Anna Robenson had a
son about 4 weeks ago its name is William Rotch Robenson
It is a fine baby Aunt Rodman was with cousin Anna
till cousin Samuel Rodman came for her on account of cousin
Sarah Rodmans illness with the slow fever. we have heard
since they set off that she was a little better.
cousin Mary Mortons neice Eliza Robenson is thought far
gone in a consumption she seems sensible of her situation
9th moth 12th Mother and Deborah rode out this morning
Mother is a good deal better and Deborah is better
I suppose Father informed thee of the disease of cousin
