	My beloved Aunt
                 I received thy very acceptable letter,
	at a time, when I was engaged in preparing for the	
	Yearly Meeting, I have not much to say for myself as
	an excuse for my long silence, except that my time has
	been much occupied, in various ways, but the remem-
	brance of you, is often very precious, and it would be
	desirable to be near enough to see each other often.
	I was sorry to hear that thou had not recovered  thy
	usual health, since thy return from the eastward, but
	hope it will be the case ere long.
	our Yearly Meeting was large, and I believe it was
	thought by most a good one.    We had not quite
	as many ledgers as last year;  Sarah Hicks widow
        of Isaac, with a certificate and her companion
        Rachael Hicks, were among the number.
        Jemima Kease and her companions, were with
        us two nights, after the yearly Meeting was over;
        her home during the yearly Meeting was at Samuel
        Coates s, they were from New York state near Vermont,
        about 500 miles distant from here, we thought
        them all valuable friends.
        Anna Almy, daughter of William Almy, and her
        companions also attended our yearly meeting, and
        made their home at cousin J Mortons, she was
        much admired; we understand she is likely to be
