Dear Charity we were much grieved and I can very feeling
ly sympathized with thee on hearing of the sad return
of thy old complaint well knowing how much it costs to
repair a broken constitution, but from a belief that afflic-
tion cometh not forth of the dust I have in some measure
felt myself resigned tether to sickness or health not doubt-
-ing the design is good if on my part it is not rendered
frustrate.---The day we received thy letter we were about
to leave home for the Beaver Country to attend the quarter-
ly meeting at Salem I found the journey so fatiguing it was
with much difficulty I was enabled to sit the meeting it
was large and the most important subject before it was
a request that had been previously agitated for a division
of Baltimore Yearly meeting. The meeting united with the
report of the committees from the several quarter in favour
of its being forwarded I consider it a very important
step and do hope good and faithful friends will be
named to inspect into our fitness for such a consignment
