Dear Uncle,
I rec'd a few days ago thy letter
of the 3 Mo - There are occasionally offering for
employment persons pretending great knowledge
in the wollen business as overseers, but it is very
hazardous having any thing to do with them
on the other hand there are many who are
pretty well known who are steady & who
know their own branch of it well, but
who are deficient in general knowledge-

the cloth is wove, when it passes into
other hands - There are a valuable

wool, getting it Roped or Slubed, and by themselves
& families doing the Spinning & weaving
at their own houses & then selling the
cloth in is raw state, or doing the same
