My dear Sister
I received thy kind Letter, when we were
busily engaged cleaning House, & that I would omit
writing until I could give thee some account of our
yearly Meeting which I attended, & think it will be satisfac=

language sweetly flowed to put our trust in that arm
of Divine power, which rought deliverance for Jacob,
& is still mindful of his persevering Israel. Hannah
G Field, Ninsy Null & several other approved Ministers
attended John J Wells from Hartford, the Meeting
ended on fourth day- I call d on several of our old friends
who seem d glad to see me, We drank tea at cousin Clark
Rodmans whose House was like a bee hive, they
enquired after thee & brother Thomas; Sarah Perry also,
was very particular in her enquiries after you, Dorcas
Brown cousin Abby Robison [illegible]Carpenter
Lewis Clark Sarah Rogers & I believe all that know you
(who came within my knowledge)expressed a desire
to hear from you. My feelings were much affected
on seeing the situation of dear Martha Gould & her
sisters, Martha has been confined to her bed 15 weeks
