Respected Friend Thomas Roach
I rite these few lines informing thee I and my
family is in reasonable health yet we have
been more weakly or alding in the family
genneraly then we have been usually but
mostly been about I may inform thee that brother
William & Elisabeth Griffeth and Several others
has deceased in our neibourhod with the fevour that is
Circulateing in the Cuntry; and there are Several more
lying very low at this time; My wife and I have
had a prospect of Comeing up to see you
in them parts but we have had Such a Sickly
time in our neibourhood in that it looks uncertain
about our comeing Shortly. if we should be favoured with
health, Several of brother Williams family has been
very low with the fevour and we had to tend there
Considerably----I may inform thee that
thy Sheep we have had the Care of are all aliving
and the yews has Sixteen lambs and we have not
lost one old or young as yet and I think the lambs looks
very well generaly for there age and I may farther inform
that we have had considerable of trouble
