New Bedford 9 mo 20 1851
Mr. Arvine Wales,
Dear Sir
Yours of 12th came to
hand this morning. I have come to the
conclusion that you had better sell
the land at the offer you have say $500
down and $500.00 in five years with
interest.
The deed I had from Marble is
recorded in Stark county and Wilson
tells me that he is very sure they are
all recorded there he thinks he left them
all in the recorder's office & Marble was to
get them and send them on, but never did
So Humphrey Davis recieved the land from T Roach
Cornelius Howland of H. Davis he sold it to
Edward T Wiltson who sold it to Marble & Marble
to Chas Wood.
You will of course keep security
on the property till the last payment is made.
I suppose it will be as well to give him
surity to give a deed when the Land is paid
for or any way as you think proper.
The deed from Marble to me is recorded
in book O, page 14 - July 23d, 1835 by David
Raffensperger Recorder Stark County Ohio.
