                    I am favoured with thy much esteemed letter of the    Inst & much pleased to observe thy fortunate sales of sheep. I think we shall be enabled to get as many as we wish at one hundred dollars or there abouts as a very large quantity hae arrived at this & at any other ports near and to have a large auction sale on the 27th where I intend to purchase one hundred & if thee likes the price quality & quantity sufficiently well I shall be glad for thee to be interested with me one half in all I may purchase, I intend to get a large flock provided I can get them at about one hundred dollars a piice if I shall not be in haste to purchase at the first sales but I shall purchase from time to time as I can get them of a good quality at a low price & altho I have
