Dr Sir,  Your favour of this day by Abraham Barker we have Just Recd and Note the Contents Accordingly. Shall do the best for your Interests with the Spermaceti Candles that we have on hand belonging to you that is in our power, but at present the prospect of Sale Appears rather dull as there is very few Vessells fitting for the West Indies, but whenever opportunity offers we shall endeavour to board them of Upon the best terms we Can Obtain, and as to the price of them we Expect that they will bring 2/9 pr # as Quick as they will Any Other as that at present seems to be the most Current price. We wrote upon the 26th Ultimo by Christopher Joseph by Whom we Rec’d the 25 Boxes Sperm Candles that you shipped by him. We still have two Cask of the Glass tumblers on hand – as they are a very dull Article, think that it might be as well to try them at Auction which if Agreeable to you please to Inform us by Next Opportunity and your directions shall be followed. Unless we should previously find a Sale for them We are with much Respect Your Sincere Friends
