Sir,
 Mr Joseph M. Lowrie has proposed to convey to me certain property to which he is entitled in the State of Ohio - & which is described in your Letter to him dated 12th mo 13th 1819 & now lying before me – as Two 2d Sections of Land  NE 9.10.9 & NE of 10.10.9. & 4 Houses & date in Canton Nos 4, 20.66.94. I behave to request the favor of you to give me such description of the property as will enable me to form some agreement of its title & value – Have the necessary & regular title papers been taken out & completed? Are they now on Mr Lawrie supposes in your hands? Have the goodness to let me hear from you as soon as your convenience will permit.
