Messrs Homberg & Homberg freres at havre remitted us, some time ago Bg14288. 10 for your accoutns, with orders to keep the money to the disposal of Mr Hawes. This gentleman who is now here requested us, to remit it to Mr Chs Dickason in London and according to his wishes, we forwarded to that house by the last mail, bills of exchange @L strg 1198 .3.9 which make the balance of the [illegible] 14288 as quoted at foot. We beg you to take notice thereof and place that sum in our credit.
