Yours of the 2d Inst.
I have this day receive'd; and note
the contents, which shall be attended
to, and as soon as an oppertunity
offers either by waggon or water, I
will send to you some of the flint,
you request; we have also in
this neighbourhood a white flint
which is used as the workmen
from England inform me, in glazing
Staffordshire ware, it is used also
by the glassmakers in this town
in ennamelling their glass ware.
We have also near this place
the kind of Clay that is used in
England for making their Best
ware. can you get the
Flint from New Philadelphia
if I send it there? I think I send
it there in the course of a month.
