Samuel Green who
is now a resident of the state of Delaware
and who formally worked for us,_ on being
made acquainted with the substance of thy
letter to us, _ and taking 2 or 3 weeks to con
sider of the subject of removing to the
town of Kendal, has just informed us
by letter that he is willing to remoove
there for the purpose mentioned in thy letter
to us. _ provided the lay should be such
and would meet his approbation; he wis
hes thee "provided the account we give of him
should meet thy approbation" to write to him
on the subject and state particularly the
terms. from what we have lern'd from
him we are inclined to believe he would
prefer being in partnership with thee in
the business. _ It is proper we should
give thee a full and true account of him
