I have felt uneasy at tthe long delay of writing to my beloved brother, & Sister but many have been my engagements for some time past, & my eyes eing weak, so that it injures them to write by Candle Light, has been one material cause, that it has been thus long, since my pen hath been thus employ'd, to convey to you my continued affectionate feelings, which be assured remains to you ward as they have hitherto done, & trusting thesame in regard to our Mutual love, I feel that it is unnecessary to spend mch time in apologising for my long Silence.
Our Yearly Meeting concluded last 6th day. it was large & I believe generally thought an opportunity of renewed favour, we had the company of Mary Neftel (from Europe), Jonathan Taylor, & his companion from Your state. & divers others fromNew York, & Baltimore Yearly Meetings, whose Labors of Love, doubtless were refreshing, & strenghtening to many minds. to me it hath been a season of instruction & hope the favours extended
I remain your tryly affectionate Sister Hannah Fisher
