I think it right to acknowledge ther receit of my beloved brother, & sister's letter dated ye 16th of last month. I had before apprehanded from the backwardness of the Spring here that your roads would be difficult.
The Wintry strom you mention, seems rather to have exceeded any I have heard of so late this Season, & I am fearful they exposure My dear C has been too much felt, so do let me have a line soon if you can not come on as desired. but the weather with us is greatly alter'd and it is possible that Roads may so improve, that you can get here, so as to partake with us at the alst, if you cannot attend the early sitings of our Yearly Meetg.
