Dear Brother & Sister Philada 11 mo 15, 1821
On 13th Inst came quickly to hand your Joint letters of 6th Instant they were the more acceptable, as conveying each of your writing & signature, I notice that much writing is not wholesome to Brother, which I can well comprehend from my own experience, both of you I understand however to be improving in health, which improvement, I hope may be continued by vouchsafed to you, Myself & Children are favoured to continue in about usual health.
This day came to hand Bre WR's letter to me of 10 Inst in which he mentions His parents are very Comfortable & that they were mostly favored with health except our Neice L Rodman, who continues very feeble, but he mentions she rode out yesterday. also he mentions being indebted to thee in the sum of $356= which Amount he has remitted me in a draft on New York at 30 days date consequently when paid to go to thy Credit with me, which brings a fresh to my mind, the strong desire, I expressed to thee, to have our Account, so long open, wihtout a ballance Struck, compared to asertain a ballance at some period & mutually known & understood to correct, as it should be, I have no other Instance, like thing, thou had my Account furnished when here last Winter & thou undertook, as thou then had not thine to compare, to do so, when thou got home & to advise me, which I again Request thee to do & to inform me thereof.
Our Friend George Withy from Bristol G Britain, who came out on a religious visit to friends in this Country, landed last summer at New York, after went shortly to Canada & being returned is now on his way thro Jersey to this City, he has left a large family of Children, particulars about him, I am not informed of.
Sister would recieve my daughter Sarah's Letter, she & Thomas as William & Deborah & their Children who with myself are favored with health all unite with me in Love to you both.

John & Mary Morton desire their Love to you both, Mary & their daughter had been absent at Rhode Island about two Months & Reurnd home last 6 day the 9 Inst Mary says, she left her Sister Abigail as well as she found her & thinks she will write & tell her, about her friends on Rhode Island etc, shortly.
